I have the ‘X’ factor!
I am ex-Eastbourne Grammar School, ex-University of Birmingham, University of London, and University of Kent, ex Great Britain indoor 400 m champion (x4), ex chief Dental Officer of The Gambia, West Africa, ex District Dental Officer of Brighton Health Authority, ex-clinical director in South Downs Health NHS Trust, and ex-Partner at North Street Dental Practice.
Having retired from clinical dental practice, I am continuing as course lead Tutor at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’s Dental Institute in the Division of Population and Patient Health, a position I have held for over 25 years.
At North Street Dental Practice, I endeavour to pilot the practice through the ever deepening and treacherous quagmire of mind-numbing, energy sapping, resource consuming, sometimes counter-productive, and often bureaucratic statutes, regulations, requirements, guidelines and laws liberally issued and flowing continuously from the Care Quality Commission, General Dental Council, Department of Health, Health and Safety Executive, other Governmental Departments, and the EEU, to name but a few.
